The software can seem difficult at first glance because it comes with advanced features that tend to raise question marks when navigating through the application, so those who are novice in design are advised to look thorough video tutorials that we highly recommend because it’s very detailed and useful. When first starting the program, it asks what you want to create (Document, Book or Library) and afterwards set page parameters if going for the Document. Parameters such as Number of Pages, Size, Columns, Margins, Orientation and Gutter are required for coming up with best interactive samples. The Interface integrates Application Frame, Application Bar (for arranging Documents are Screen Mode) and also the Control Panel that practically controls objects on the page. Also, before starting to work on the Document, rulers can be set on both parts.

For adding text into the existent page, the Type tool should be used, just drag and drop on the page and afterwards start typing in the blue box. When working for magazines or newspapers everything should be at its place and not a single mistake is accepted. A Spell Checker is provided so the user comes not only with appealing writing but also with correct ones. Features such as Auto Correct and Dynamic Spelling are encountered and there is also a Dictionary. For adding Pictures in the Page, one can use the Rectangle Frame Tool; if minor modifications must be made with Pictures or Text, the Rotate Tool does just the thing. The Layout tab allows working with Margins and Columns, such details should very well organized. On the Control Panel there are certain features such as Drop shadow (it highlights the text for better focusing on it), Apply Effect to Graphic, Opacity and also object effects for the selected target (Inner Shadow, Inner/Outer Glow, Satin, Basic Feather etc.)  Last but not least, the Insert Special Character Tool is also worth being mentioned because it provides Symbols, Quotation marks and many more.  For having a better perspective over the masterpiece, the Screen Mode can be selected and viewing it in Preview, Slug or Bleed styles and even as a Presentation.
