The software has a friendly Interface, and it does not come with features that would raise a question mark to those that do not possess the proper knowledge for designing.  After focusing on the mental house, the user can start creating his own dream house. First steps are selecting the Default Configuration and start tracing Walls; one may choose from Straight Exterior or Interior Wall, Straight Foundation Wall, Slab Footing and other. After attaching Windows, Doors, Cabinet tools, Electric tools, with the 3D tab, the construction can be seen in a different perspective, a version that is close to reality. The House wizard tool permits taking care of specific parts of the house like Bathroom, Bedroom, Closet, Dining Room, Kitchen, and Laundry Room; the trail version does not come with these features but one can come into its possession with the full version.

When one starts imagining the dream house, one has also in mind how the exterior design would look like. The software deals also with exterior design, like Plants, placing Roads, Driveways, Stepping Stone and Sprinkler. Practically the software permits building a small house or a palace, inserting as many floors as one wishes, make Holes in Floor Platform or in ceiling Platform. Chief Architect Premier offers various ways in seeing the design, like Standard Version-the initial version, Vector view, Glass house, Technical Illustrations and Watercolor for having a better perspective over the masterpiece.
